Shiretoko National Park , located on the Shiretoko Peninsula in eastern Hokkaido, is one of Japan's most beautiful and unspoiled national parks.

Shiretoko is located at a 44 degrees latitude, at the same level of Milan or Marseille, but the climate is extremely different. The temperatures of February are comprised between -11°C (12,2°F) and -3°C (26,6°F).

 

This is hence extremely rare to be able to see drift ice as such a southern latitude.

No worry for the beginners. The experienced guide gives you instructions.

The tour features easy snowshoeing hike in Furepe waterfall path and Drift Ice Walk. 

The itinerary can be flexible, so please talk with our guide where to go, what to eat.

☆Participation condition

We are providing dry suits. As it is necessary to reserve the suits, please inform us about your size and weight, otherwise it will not be possible for us to perform the tour.

• Weight: from 40 to 85kg
• Footsize: 23 to 28cm (EU size: 39 to 43)

 Please note that these are the only sizes we are possessing. Outside those limits, for your safety, it will not be possible to participate to the tour. Please accept our deepest apologies.
